In fact, many high end beauty products can be made with household products while sitting in front of the television. Let's take a look at some of the products that can be made at home.
The lips regularly need to have dry skin removed, however they need to also stay moisturized in order to be healthy and not have an excess of dead skin. By creating your own sugar scrub and lip balm, they are the perfect combination to keep your lips smooth and kissable.
Tablespoon of honey
Tablespoon of coconut oil
Two teaspoons of brown sugar
Mix together the honey and coconut oil until they are blended. Then add the brown sugar and stir. If the mixture needs to be more smooth, add more coconut oil. Move the mixture into a clean bottle and use as needed.
1/2 teaspoon aloe vera
1/2 ounce beeswax
1/4 teaspoon vitamin E oil
3 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon shea butter
5-7 drops of peppermint oil
2 teaspoons coconut oil
In a double boiler, combine the beeswax, coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter. Heat until the mixture is melted. Take away from the heat and add the aloe vera, vitamin E oil, and peppermint oil then stir. Pour the mixture into your desired vessel and allow to cool.

1.5 oz camomile tea
4 teaspoons aloe vera
1 drop peppermint essential oil
2 tablespoons bentonite clay
3 capsules activated charcoal
Begin by combining the tea and shea butter in a double boiler. Allow the mixture to melt. Mix together the charcoal and bentonite clay. Add the clay mixture to the shea butter mixture. Stir while adding in the peppermint oil and aloe vera. When done, store in a container of your choice. Apply the mask to the face and wash off after 15 minutes.
3 tablespoons plain greek yogurt
2 teaspoons dried orange peel
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup steel-cut oatmeal
juice from 1 whole orange
Combine all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Stir until the mixture is thick enough to apply to the face. Add more oatmeal to thicken. Store the mixture in an airtight container in the fridge. It will last up to a week. To use, apply the mix to the face and wash off after 15-30 minutes. This will leave the skin clean, cleansed, and moisturized.
